Los Angeles County Museum of Art to Feature Exhibition of Allan Adler in 2011
Los Angeles, CA. – December 8, 2009 – Becca Adler, the widow of American silversmith Allan Adler (www.allanadler.com), is pleased to announce that her husband’s work will be featured in exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art during the 2011 exhibit season.
With 100,000 objects dating from ancient times to the present, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is the largest art museum in the western United States. A museum of international stature as well as a vital part of Southern California, LACMA shares its vast collections through exhibitions, public programs, and research facilities that attract nearly a million visitors annually.
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art has notable Allan Adler works in its permanent collection including the silversmith’s Aladdin Lamp, circa 1940. A time frame for the exhibit is soon to be announced.
